Sad day at our house last week :(
My babies had to go back to school.
We now have kids in middle school and elementary school.
Jacob, 6th grade.
He has a made a wonderful transition into middle school.
He got lost the first day going to 5th period.
Homework hasn't been bad so far.
He's too far to bike, so now we have to do the carline. It's not fun! lol
He gets to sleep in! Middle school times are like our elementary was in Iowa, 9-4.
Here he his holding his first day of Elementary school picture on his first day of Middle school.
He's so big!
Alex, 4th grade.
I'm so proud of him for this first day of school picture!! He usually tries to hide.
He has been really worried about 4th grade.
So far it's been fine.
Hopefully we can keep him on target and it stays fine! lol
Alyssa, 1st grade.
First grade did not get off to a good start, but I feel like this week is a little better.
Girl loves her Mama!
Her teacher is super sweet, but we just have a lot of separation anxiety this year.
She looks so big with her new hair cut!
Parker only wants to know why we are getting up so early! lol

Alyssa's 7th birthday!
Quick post of pictures for Alyssa's movie star party...
Invites...
Upon arrival parents were given VIP passes and kiddos got to pick out their dress
Time to get dressed up and have some snacks
Time to walk the red carpet!!
There were stick on mustaches, hats and jackets if the boys wanted to dress up, but Parker was having nothing but the blue dress!
Some of our favorite poses...
personalized walk of fame cards, the stanchions(golden plungers my husband made fun of), and our security for the event
Time for cupcakes
She was not happy about not being able to blow out the sparkle star, so we had a take two with a regular candle
A little game of name that movie, followed by awards and autographs.
Just acting out movies with props for everyone to guess what movie.
