Halloween 2014

This year we spent an afternoon at the corn maze and pumpkin patch! We had lemonade, lots of fried stuff, got lost in the corn maze, took a very dusty hay ride, and got to hang out with cows. lol

For Halloween we had an alien, a dinosaur, a star wars dude, and Jacob!

BaCk To ScHoOl 2014

Sad day at our house last week :(
My babies had to go back to school.
We now have kids in middle school and elementary school.

Jacob, 6th grade.
He has a made a wonderful transition into middle school.
He got lost the first day going to 5th period.
Homework hasn't been bad so far.
He's too far to bike, so now we have to do the carline. It's not fun! lol
He gets to sleep in! Middle school times are like our elementary was in Iowa, 9-4.

I'm so proud of him for this first day of school picture!!  He usually tries to hide.
He has been really worried about 4th grade.
So far it's been fine.
Hopefully we can keep him on target and it stays fine! lol

First grade did not get off to a good start, but I feel like this week is a little better.
Girl loves her Mama!
Her teacher is super sweet, but we just have a lot of separation anxiety this year.
She looks so big with her new hair cut!



Parker only wants to know why we are getting up so early! lol

Girls day at Disney World

I had a girls day at Disney World with Alyssa this weekend!  
Our kids earn tickets throughout the week for doing their "jobs" and on Sundays they get the spend them. 
Alyssa bought a day out with Mom or Dad and wanted to go to Disney World.

She got to be first on Soarin at Epcot and have Belle sign her cast. She wanted to visit with Anna and Elsa from frozen, but the waits are still at 5 hours, so she decided to try another time.






And this is this is the Mickey Power Pole, if you've ever heard us talk about it. It's the first thing we see when we drive over to Disney! We love it, and get super excited and make bets on how many minutes until we see the ears!
